Neighborhood events during the Passive House Open Days 2023

10.11.2023 – 12.11.2023, Worldwide and online

event

For two decades, Passive House residents have been transforming homes into showcases of sustainability during the International Passive House Open Days. As we approach this remarkable milestone on November 10-12, we invite you to be part of our anniversary celebration and help us make the International Passive House Open Days an event that inspires change!

Like the past editions, this year's main event will be organised in the framework of outPHit. Case study buildings and observer projects from the seven partner countries will take part in the Open Days, delivering a great opportunity to learn about serial retrofitting concepts and the enerPHit standard in general.

Below you will find participating buildings via outPHit as well as events - we encourage you to stop by for a visit if there is one in your area!

Municipal heat planning and ambitious climate protection targets demand concrete concepts and implementations from local authorities, while numerous administrative buildings and schools need to be modernized and expanded. For the building sector, Passive House and buildings renovated according to the EnerPHit standard offer a sensible and sustainable solution.

In this workshop, we will show you how the implementation can work using schools in wood modular construction. Those involved in the project (municipal developer, architectural firm, scientific project support) will report on their experiences and provide valuable tips for successful implementation. The LEA LandesEnergieAgentur Hessen will also provide advice on relevant funding opportunities for municipalities. Finally, there will be a guided tour of the new elementary school building.
