7.9.2022, 14:45 – 7.9.2022, 16:15, online

event

Complex problems call for innovative, holistic solutions. Improving energy efficiency of European buildings requires interventions across the whole value chain, and the mobilisation of all sectors – government, private enterprises, research/academia and civic society. Technical solutions and best practices are already available. This workshop highlighted the common and complementary insights and solutions contributed by four key projects, effectively and reliably leading to high performance, deep renovations.

The outPHit project was presented together with the projects EUROPA and re-MODULEES. They all identify and integrate deep renovation solutions, leading to substantial added value and the possibility of breakthroughs in market uptake. The fourth project is SMAFIN, which focuses on promoting multi-stakeholder dialogue on building renovation financing.

Agenda:

  • A round of brief (7’) presentations
  • Moderated  virtual roundtable discussion, where key challenges related to the deep renovation of the EU building stock  will be highlighted, along with the solutions and policies proposed by each project.
  • Q & A: The audience will have the possibility to set questions in advance (an email to send questions will be provided in the workshop promotional communication) and during the event.

This workshop was part of Sustainable Places 2022, an event for the dissemination of research, the conduct of workshops, EU project clustering and networking between stakeholders of all types. The event took place Nice (FR) and online from 6 to 9 September 2022.
